Find a way forward.Because we can get a bit lost when we're challenged by life. Stuck. Confused. Conflicted.To me, counselling is about making time and space in your week to untangle things, lay them out, move the pieces around and start to get a better picture of what's going on. Then we can work with life rather than against it and hopefully move towards better days.
Inside us there are two wolves fighting.
One is destructive. The other is nurturing.

About Lost & Found
I work with all genders and age groups on a wide variety of challenges from relationships to grief, identity, purpose, motivation and addiction. My clients thrive on the patience, care, creativity, insight and realness I provide and they enjoy having a counsellor who doesn’t fit the old stereotypes.I’m a pluralistic counsellor, meaning I use a variety of approaches and tailor them to what works for you. It might include Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, mindfulness, and motivational or solution-focused work.
I became a counsellor at age 46 after a full life journeying far and wide, both on foot and in mind. I’ve punched the bingo card on many of life’s major catastrophes and slowly but surely done the mahi to convert them into an understanding of the immense value of friendship, family, love, meaningful work, health, nature, self-care and shenanigans.I'll do my best to help you find diamonds in the rough too.

For now I'm just taking bookings for Fridays but will do my best to find a time that suits you (I work as an addictions counsellor the other four days).Sessions are 60 minutes long, in person or online, at $135/hr. Engagements can last from 3 sessions to 30, it's up to you.I'm based in Te Whanganui-a-tara Wellington and I'm provisionally registered with the New Zealand Association of Counsellors.Happy to answer any questions via text or email.Ka kite.
